Kimberly Lorenzini, MA, LMHC
Kimberly is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). Kimberly is a graduate of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and Colorado Christian University. Kimberly has worked with victims of violent crimes, and domestic violence. Kimberly has worked in the native communities for nine years.
Kimberly focuses sessions on learning skills in Internal Family Systems, Bowen Family Systems, and Cognitive Behavioral therapy. As a result, the client discovers different parts of his or her thinking and understands the importance of the family unit and the need for validation, acknowledgment, and support within the family structure. Focusing on the relationship between the client, and those he or she interacts with understanding humans crave unconditional love, and by offering that, we unlock a client’s defenses and help gain trust in their instincts. Kimberly hopes each client learns to depend on himself/herself by understanding self and increasing those protective instincts we each have within us. Kimberly seeks to provide an environment where clients gain new skills to create the changes, they want by gaining insight into why they do what they do while relying on and growing their inner strengths.
Kimberly is a Christian who applies biblical understanding to life problems and encourages clients to focus on their spiritual strength in Christ.
